Have a Breastfeeding Question? Hearing Conflicting Advice About a Breastfeeding Problem?
Want to Learn How to Breastfeed Successfully?
The U.S. Surgeon General and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend breastfeeding throughout baby’s first year and beyond, with exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months. We know that breastfeeding offers numerous long-term health benefits for both mom and baby. The choice may seem easy, but even with the enormous amount of information about breastfeeding available many mothers still encounter difficulties and need experienced support.
Call on International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Jeannine Jacobs, B.A., IBCLC, to help navigate your way to better breastfeeding.
She can answer your questions, fix a painful latch, check on medication safety, work with weight gain or milk supply issues, supplementation, effective pumping, starting solids and weaning.
Classes and Consultations are available at three locations in Troy and Albany.
